Three Rivers College will kick off a virtual version of a popular event, Trivia Night, this week.
The annual scholarship fundraiser will be hosted every Thursday for at least 10 weeks through the college’s Facebook page.
The Trivia Thursday post will be made this Thursday.
“Since we are unable to gather safely, we decided to change this event to a virtual setting this year which will still let us enjoy trivia, still raise money for TRC scholarships, and will allow more people to participate,” said Michelle Reynolds, director of development at Three Rivers College.
A trivia question will be posted on the TRC Facebook page every Thursday for at least 10 weeks. Voting will close at noon the following Monday, and the college will randomly select a winner from the individuals who answered correctly. Winners will receive prizes courtesy of local businesses. The college hopes everyone will participate in this project, which supports a good cause. The Black & Gold scholarship assists students with great financial need.
