Warren “David” Rainey, Sr, age 69, of Broseley, died Monday, January 18, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Rainey was born May 18, 1951, son of the late Warren Clayton and Juanita Lucille Rainey. He was an auctioneer and operated J&R Auction in Powe, Mo. and Jordan’s Flea Market for several years.
On February 18, 1972 he married Connie Jordan. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Warren David Rainey, Jr. of Qulin and Clinton Gerald Rainey of Poplar Bluff; one daughter, Christy Jane Rainey of Broseley; four grandchildren, Summer Dawn Rainey, Logan David Rainey, Clayton Andrew Rainey and Megan Jane Rainey and one sister, Juanita “Bonnie” Kerr of Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 21 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Sanders officiating. Burial will be at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley.
