Anna Marie Goade, 69, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri entered the presence of Jesus Jan. 7, 2021 in Poplar Bluff.
Anna was born Jan. 28, 1951 to the late William and Edna May (Kirkhart) Sherman in St. Louis, Missouri.
Anna was the custodian at Temple Baptist Church, where she was also a member. She was retired from Shady Grove State School as bus monitor. Anna enjoyed shopping, church, loving all children and collecting angels. Everyone who knew Anna can testify to the fact her main goal in life was living for the Lord and her family.
Anna is survived by son, Jeremy Lee James Goade; grandchildren: Reighlynn, Haven and Serenity Goade; brother: Jack Richard Sherman, sister: Bonnie Pyles and husband Steve.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents and sister: Eileen Elizabeth Sherman.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5-6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 11, 2021 at Temple Baptist Church, 1813 Barron Road. Poplar Bluff, MO 63901. The memorial service will begin at 6 p.m. with Rev. Steve Patterson and Rev. Calvin Buhler officiating. The family would enjoy hearing some memories of Anna during this time as well. Inurnment will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021 in the City Cemetery. The family requests everyone in attendance to wear masks.
