Nicholas E. Thompson, 24, of Huntington, Tennessee, was arrested at 8:59 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, in Carter County on a Greene County failure to appear warrant for fourth-degree domestic assault and on suspicion of DWI, speeding, driving while revoked and no insurance. He was booked at the Shannon County Jail.

A 28-year-old Malden woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, on Highway 25 at Highway D, four miles north of Bernie.

According to the report, Wyman G. Grady, 68, of Dexter was operating a 2004 International Truck southbound when he pulled into the path of a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix being operated northbound by Chiquiera N. Brunston.

Brunston suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to SoutheastHEALTH at Dexter for treatment.

Jami N. Belew, 48, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 7:41 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, on a Butler County warrant for harassing communication. She was booked at the Butler County jail and released on bond.

Six Ripley County residents were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 3:53 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, on Highway 160, one mile east of Doniphan.

According to the report, Kimberly B. Wells, 49, of Doniphan was operating an eastbound 2004 GMC Yukon, which was stopped to make a left-hand turn and was struck in the rear by a 2003 Dodge pickup being operated by Christopher D. Smith, 33, of Gatewood.

Wells suffered minor injuries, as did her passengers -- a 4-year-old male, a 7-year-old female, a 7-year-old male and Madison K. Wells, 17, all of Doniphan.

Smith suffered moderated injuries.

All of the injured were transported to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Elizabeth Christine Detke, 22, of the 1900 block of Raulston was booked at the Butler County jail Thursday, Dec. 3, on suspicion of first-degree assault and resisting arrest.

Nathan Dwayne Montgomery, 34, of the 1000 block of Marylane Drive was booked at the Butler County jail Thursday, Dec. 3, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, second-degree property damage and stealing and warrants for three counts of violation of an ex-parte/full order of protection, third-degree domestic assault, first-degree burglary and second-degree burglary.

James Dale Smith, 42, of Qulin was booked at the Butler County jail Thursday, Dec. 3, on warrants for defective equipment and expired plates. He was released on bond.

Michael R. Ferguson reported Nov. 21 that the locks had been cut on seven self-storage units in the 17900 block of Highway 67 South at Neelyville.

According to the report, contact with made with all the renters and two, Nicholas Wade Putman of Republic and Jennifer Leann Thomas of Neelyville, provided a list of missing items.

Putman reported a refrigerator, gaming console and pearl necklace were stolen.

Thomas reported a dolly, automotive batteries, child’s BB gun, children’s toys, camping stove, lantern, tool kit, chain saw, propane tanks, tackle box containing miscellaneous tackle and children’s overalls were among the items stolen.

POPLAR BLUFF POLICE DEPARTMENT

Cornelius Junior Harris, 46, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, on Eighth Street near Maple Street on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, two Butler County failure to appear warrants for possession of a controlled substance and non-support and a Butler County warrant for possession of a controlled substance. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Robert Wayne Riggs Jr., 28, of the 1200 block of Mary Street was arrested at 5:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, on County Road 481 on suspicion of stealing a motor vehicle. He was booked at the Butler County jail.
