FISK, Mo. — Frederick George McClure, 78, of Wappapello, died Friday, Nov. 6, 2020 at his residence in Wappapello.
Mr. McClure was born July 20, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri, son of Jerlean Conner McClure and the late Launful “Lonnie” Frederick McClure.
He was a member of the Poplar Bluff Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. On Sept. 30, 1977, he was married to Janice Decker. She preceded him in death on July 20th 2014. On April 15, 2016, he married Jo Anne Ballow Pierpont. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother: Jerlean McClure of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois; two sons: Michael McClure of Saint Louis, Missouri, and Jason McClure of Manchester, Missouri; two daughters: Christine Altschuh of Mehlville, Missouri and Lauren Bowers of Affton, Missouri; three sisters: Sandra Jerlean Huntley of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, Janice Marie Peek of Stanford, Illinois and Joann Margarite Price of St. Charles, Missouri; one brother: Samuel Roy McClure of Dell City, Oklahoma, and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one grandchild.
There will be a gathering of family and friends beginning at noon Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk.
