City firefighters responded at 12:26 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, to a motor-vehicle crash at the intersection of Oak Grove and Shelby roads.
According to the report, firefighters assisted emergency-medical-services personnel and used 200 gallons of water and Hydrobreak to remove debris from the road. Firefighters remained on the scene until the vehicles were removed.

City firefighters responded at 1:41 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, to a report of a structure fire at the intersection of Benton and Jefferson streets.
According to the report, firefighters found an unauthorized burn involving a make-shift fire pit with trash and wood burning under the front porch of the 935 Benton St. residence occupied by Dustin Rodgers. The fire reportedly was burning in close proximity to other combustible materials.
Firefighters used five gallons of water to put out the fire and told Rodgers it was unsafe to burn in this area, and he was not allowed to burn trash in the city.

According to the report, firefighters assisted in helping a woman into a chair after she had fallen.
