Timothy Silverberg, 70, of South Bend, Indiana, died Oct. 4 in hospice care.
Among his survivors are: Cherry, his wife of 45 years; two sons, Joshua of South Bend and Joseph of Fishers, Indiana; two brothers, David (Jane) Silverberg of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Larry Silverberg of Port Orange, Florida; and one sister, Debbie (Miguel) Amigo of Terre Haute, Ind.
Tim graduated from Indiana State University in Terre Haute with a degree in recreational therapy. He worked 40 years at the Logan Center in South Bend where he helped many people with developmental disabilities. He also was a Special Olympics coach for 45 years.
