Artis Young Cole, age 90, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020, at his residence.
Mr. Cole was born Aug. 19, 1930, in Alabama. Mr. Cole had worked for 20 years for Kerr McGee Chemical Corporation. After retiring, he became a OTR Truck driver for Isom Farm Supply. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
On Aug. 14, 1953, he married Evelyn Hogan. She survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Teresa (Fred) Lester of Poplar Bluff, and one sister, Lillie Mae McGuire of Bear Creek, Alabama.
There will be a memorial service at a later date.
