Vicki Bennett

LAFORGE, Mo. — Vicki Bennett, 58, of LaForge, passed away Friday, Aug. 28, 2020, while surrounded by friends and family at Saint Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born June 2, 1962, in Truman, Arkansas, to the late Melvin and Melba Bennett, she was of the Baptist faith and a scheduler for Continu-Care until ill health forced her retirement.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Sydney Bennett-DeWitt (Jeffery Craft) of Poplar Bluff; two brothers, Mike Bennett of LaForge and Melvin Bennett of Memphis, Tennessee; and five grandchildren, Amelia, Harrison, Rieanna, Parker and Landon.

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where services will be held at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Sonny Jackson officiating.

A private interment will be held at Sikeston City Cemetery at a later date.
