Larry Waddell

Larry Waddell, 73, of Grandin, Mo., died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2020 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Waddell was born Nov. 16, 1946 in Wardell, Mo. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. Larry was a farmer and especially loved raising cattle. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and had traveled to many states. He also enjoyed working on his dozer and deer hunting with his family and friends. He attended First General Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff.

On Sept. 4, 2004 he married Stephanie Owens. She survives.

Also surviving are his mother: Georgia Waddell of Poplar Bluff; two daughters: Kristy Johnson of Cape Girardeau and Tammy Kaempfe of Poplar Bluff; two brothers: Frank Waddell of Poplar Bluff and David Waddell of Fisk, and eight grandchildren:

He was preceded in death by his father: Ralph Waddell and one son: Stanley Waddell.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2020 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Crowley officiating. Burial will be in Sparkman Cemetery at Poplar Bluff, Mo.
