Karen Steele

Karen Steele, 58, of Naylor died Sunday, Aug. 16, 2020, in New Madrid County, Missouri.

She was born Dec. 20, 1961, in Poplar Bluff to Loren Leon Murray and Wanda Lorne (VanKirk) Murray. Her mother survives.

She was a homemaker and attended Westside Church of God. She loved her horses and her dogs.

She married Freddy Steele Sept. 12, 1987. He survives.

Also surviving are son, Cole Lane Steele; brother, Jim Bausworth (Paula); brothers-in-law, Carl Steele Jr., and Randy Steele; sister-in-law, Regina Wrinkle; mother-in-law, Vera Steele; special nieces and nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Loren Leon Murray; and her father-in-law, Carl Steele.

Visitation will be at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 20 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home followed by the graveside services at 3 p. m. at the City Cemetery. Rev. Leroy Murray will officiate.
