MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL

A 37-year-old Poplar Bluff man was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 12:48 a.m. Thursday, July 30, on U.S. 60 North Outer Road, west of Highway AD, two miles west of Dexter.

According to the report, Jamie R. Hoggard was operating a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee westbound when it ran off the road, struck an embankment, overturned and caught fire.

Hoggard suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Hoggard was arrested at 1:37 a.m. on suspicion of DWI (persistent offender), careless and imprudent driving resulting in an accident and no seat belt. He was released to medical personnel.

A 59-year-old Bloomfield man was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, on Highway 51, four miles south of Puxico.

According to the report, Dale L. McClellan was operating a 2017 Ford Mustang southbound when it crossed the center line and struck a 2019 Ford pickup being driven northbound by Matthew B. Caldwell, 18, of Puxico.

McClellan suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment.

Christopher M. Logan, 28, of Union, Missouri, was arrested at 3:21 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, on suspicion of tampering with a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and no insurance. He was booked at the Wayne County Jail.

Sherry R. Goff reported Sunday, July 26, that a residence on D Street in Qulin had been entered and a kitchen faucet, stove and water heater were stolen.

According to the report, parts for a 1955 Chevrolet Apache were stolen from a shed.

Stanley Eugene Vest, 46, of Broseley was arrested at 12:08 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, at Probation and Parole on a Carter County warrant for possession of a controlled substance. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Troy Lavell Bumpers, 41, of the 400 block of North Main was arrested at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, at his residence on suspicion of fourth-degree domestic assault and peace disturbance. He was booked at the Butler County jail.
