Butler County recorded a new single-day record in COVID-19 cases on Thursday.
The Butler County Health Department reported 10 new cases, putting the county at 206 total cases since March 31 with no current hospitalizations, 165 cases having recovered and three total deaths.
The previous single-day record was eight cases, reported July 22, and 67 new cases have been reported in the past two weeks.
Missouri reported 48,834 total cases statewide as of 2 p.m. Thursday, with 1,233 total deaths and 13 deaths in the last 24 hours.
Nationally, more than 150,000 people have died from the coronavirus.
