An 18-year-old Piedmont resident was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, on Highway V, six miles southeast of Piedmont.
According to the report, Jason L. Robinson, 18, of Piedmont was operating a 2006 Pontiac G6 northbound when he failed to negotiate a curve, which caused his car to run off the left side of the road.
Robinson suffered moderate injuries, as did a 16-year-old passenger from Piedmont.
Another passenger, Andrew L. Howard, suffered serious injuries, while a 15-year-old passenger from Piedmont suffered minor injuries.
All four were taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.
