Doris Sloan

Doris Lee Sloan, 82, of Poplar Bluff, passed away at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center on Monday, June 15, 2020.

He was born Aug. 17, 1937, in Doniphan, to Alvin and Zola (Robertson) Sloan.

He loved his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids very much. Fishing with the kids, trips to Home Depot, Menards and Academy were some of his favorite past times. He had a very large heart and the best time for him was BBQs with his family and traveling. Doris was a member of the Church of Latter-Day Saints.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Sloan of Poplar Bluff; two sons, Alvin and Darrell Sloan of Poplar Bluff; two daughters, Jacqueline Mccrellies and Doris Mancel of Poplar Bluff; seven grandchildren, Lisa Clemons, Kenneth Clemons, Brittany Lakin, Joseph Lakin, Jacob Mancel, Cody Colllins and Shawn Sloan, all of Poplar Bluff; as well as eight great-grandchildren.

Doris was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister and his son, Patrick Sloan.
