MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL
A 52-year-old Ellsinore woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 12:19 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, on U.S. 67, one mile north of Poplar Bluff.
According to the report, Dakota S. Wood, 20, of Doniphan was operating a 2009 Chevrolet Impala eastbound when he failed to yield to a 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser, and his car struck the other car in the driver’s side.
The Chrysler’s driver, Cindy L. White, suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Jason L. Allen, 35, of Ellington was arrested at 10:47 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, on a warrant for parole violation on an original resisting arrest charge and a St. Louis County Police Department warrant for probation violation on an original drug violation. He was booked at the Wayne County Jail.

Levi R. Faughn, 19, of Wappapello was arrested at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, on a Butler County failure to appear warrant for fraud and on suspicion of no insurance and failure to display valid plates. He was booked at the Butler County jail and released on bond.

Joseph Kent Poore of the 600 block of Cynthia Street reported his 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee was damaged between 8:30 p.m. Saturday, June 6, and 3:15 a.m. Sunday, June 7, while it was parked roadside near the intersection of Business 60 and Highway NN.
According to the report, Poore left his SUV after it broke down, and when he returned, he found its interior had been damaged.
The center console cover had been removed, and a section of the instrument panel cover had been pried on in an attempt to steal it.
The rear floor panel covering the spare tire reportedly was found leaning up against the back of the rear seats.

Pilar E. Dawe of the 3300 block of Jimmy Lane reported at about 8:35 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, that her unlocked car had been entered and its glove compartment and center console rummaged through during the prior night. Nothing appeared to be missing.

Jennifer Alma Vancil of the 2800 block of Charlton Lane reported Tuesday, June 9, that a 2015 Hyundai Elantra, 2015 Dodge pickup and a 1997 Chevrolet pickup had been entered.
According to the report, the glove compartments and center consoles on the Hyundai and Dodge were rummaged through, while the glove compartment was rummaged through on the Chevrolet.
Nothing appeared to be missing from the vehicles, which were unlocked at the time.

Jeffery Todd Washer, 53, of the 1100 block of Cole Avenue was arrested at 12:11 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, at the Walmart Supercenter on suspicion of stealing, first-degree trespassing and possession of fewer than 35 grams of marijuana. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

She was booked at the Butler County jail.

A 71-year-old Williamsville man was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 11:05 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, at the intersection of Westwood Boulevard and Sunset Drive.
According to the report, Gaylon Maddux was operating a southbound 1996 Chevrolet pickup in the inside lane of Westwood Boulevard.
At the same time, Michael Joe Hodge, 53, of Doniphan was operating a 1988 Ford pickup westbound on Sunset Drive.
Both drivers reported they had a green light and proceeded into the intersection, where Maddux’s truck allegedly struck Hodge’s truck in the driver’s side.
Maddux complained of back pain and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.
