Two area men were seriously injured in unrelated crashes on Sunday in Butler County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a two-vehicle crash occurred at 12:34 p.m. on County Road 468, one-half mile southwest of Poplar Bluff.
Adam K. Brasher, 42, of Poplar Bluff reportedly was operating a 2004 Yamaha motorcycle eastbound when it crossed the center line and struck a 2019 Toyota head on.
Brasher suffered serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The other driver, Mary J. Hansmann, 75, of Poplar Bluff, suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to the Poplar Bluff hospital for treatment.
At about 11:40 a.m., a 43-year-old Fredericktown man was seriously injured in an crash involving a Donkey forklift on Christina Lane, two miles east of Poplar Bluff.
The patrol reports Christopher E. Pluto was making a left-hand turn when the forklift overturned.
Pluto was flown to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment.
