City firefighters responded at 2:37 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, to a vehicle fire on the parking lot of Casey’s General Store, 1995 S. Broadway.
According to the report, firefighters used 10 gallons of water to put out a small fire under a 2005 Dodge Caravan, owned by Emile David.

According to the report, firefighters assisted emergency-medical-services personnel in packaging and loading two people for transport.

City firefighters responded at 10:49 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, to a report of a kitchen fire at the 723 N. 11th St. residence occupied by Tasha Marsh.
According to the report, the occupants told firefighters the fire was in the oven, and they had tried to put out the fire, but thought the food in the oven still was on fire.
Firefighters used a portable fire extinguisher to put out the fire in the oven. The fire was contained to the oven.
A positive-pressure-ventilation fan was set up to remove smoke from the home.

According to the report, firefighters used tools to remove a driver from her vehicle and washed off the road.

County firefighters responded at 5:32 a.m. Thursday, June 4, to a report of a fire involving tractor-trailer on U.S. 60 East, just east of Highway Z.
According to the report, there was no fire; the tractor-trailer had locked its brakes up. The truck was owned by Bumby Transport and being operated by John Weston.
