Missouri State Highway Patrol
Lonnie M. Kelley, 18, of Silva sustained moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 9:40 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, on Missouri 34 about 6.8 miles east of Silva. According to the patrol report, Kelley’s 1994 Ford Ranger ran off the right side of the roadway striking a MODot roadway sign and a concrete wall. The vehicle came to rest in a creek. Kelley was transported to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Three people were injured in two-vehicle accident at 2:19 p.m. Wednesday, May, 27 on Highway 177 three miles north of Cape Girardeau. According to patrol reports, the crash occurred as 2008 Ford Focus driver by Coby N. McHughes, 27, of Cape Gireadeau passed in a no passing zone and stuck the 2019 Nissan Altima driven by Dara I. Drury, 58, of Cape Girardeau head on.
McHughes was transported by emergency medical services with serious injuries to St. Francis Medical Center. Drury and her passenger Delores J. Lowe, 47, of Cape Girardeau were transported by EMS with moderate injuries to Southeast Medical Center.
