__City council__
The Poplar Bluff City Council will meet at 6:45 p.m. Monday at the city council chambers, in the Black River Coliseum.
A public hearing will be held at 6:45 p.m. Monday, prior to the regular meeting at 7 p.m. The hearing will discuss: annexation into the city of property at 481 State Highway W, owned by Joe and Karen Knuckles, and 465 State Highway W, owned by Kathe Ledwidge; and a grant application for the purchase of a new fire truck.
Items on the workshop agenda for the regular session include: request for new temporary cell tower at 1017 Ridge Ave.
Items on the action required agenda include:
• Amendment to conditional use permit application process for liquor by the drink.
• Amendment to language in city ordinances regarding small wireless communication facilities in all zoning districts.
• Donation of airpacks and accessories to Three Rivers College Fire Science Program.
• Rezoning of property between Katy Lane and Barron Road from RS-2 general residential to O-1 office professional for future commercial use.
• Destruction of antiquated records at the police department.
A closed session is also planned.

The Downtown Poplar Bluff board will meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the city council chambers.
Items on the agenda include amendments to bylaws and a report from the executive director.
