James “Jim” Carrol Hall of LaForge, Mo., passed away at home on May 5, 2020 surrounded by his loving family and very special friend JoAnn Buck. He was 84 years old. James “Jim” Carrol Hall of LaForge, Mo., passed away at home on May 5, 2020 surrounded by his loving family and very special friend JoAnn Buck. He was 84 years old.

Jim was born Dec. 12, 1935, to Matt and Ethel Flowers Hall in Center Ridge, Ark.

He Married Elizabeth Ann “Sally” Gilmer Hall on June 18, 1955. Sally proceeded him in death on July 31, 2010.

He was of the Baptist faith and attended Kewanee Baptist Church in Kewanee, Mo.

He is survived by three sons and three daughters-in-law, Mike and Sandy Hall of Sikeston, Mo., Mark and Sabra Hall of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Steve and Michelle Hall of East Prairie, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Ashley and Justin Palmer, Katlyn Hall, Jessie and Crystal Hall, Morgan and McLane Poteet, Steven Hall, Ben and Kasey Hall, Amy and Dusty Lee and 16 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was proceeded in death by one son, Douglas Leon Hall, and one granddaughter, Kristen Hall Sheubrooks.

Visitation will be Thursday May 7, 2020 from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, Mo., with Rev John David Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
