A Malden teenager was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash at 10:37 p.m. Saturday, March 14, on U.S. 60, one-half mile east of Grayridge in Stoddard County.

According to the report, Jamilyn J. Criglar, 21, of Malden was operating a 2010 Jeep Wrangler eastbound when it ran off the right side of the road. Criglar reportedly overcorrected, which caused his vehicle to overturn.

Criglar suffered minor injuries, as did his 19-year-old passenger, Simon Lerma of Malden.

Another passenger, Harvey L. Nix, suffered serious injuries, while two other passengers, Devin A. Newman, 19, and Tavion J. Young, 25, both of Malden, suffered moderate injuries.

All five were taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment.

Criglar was arrested at 11:06 p.m. on suspicion of DWI. He was released to medical personnel.
