A 34-year-old Dexter man was injured in a one vehicle accident at approximately 11:57 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14, on Stoddard County Route 3 3/10 miles west of County Road 271. A 34-year-old Dexter man was injured in a one vehicle accident at approximately 11:57 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14, on Stoddard County Route 3 3/10 miles west of County Road 271.

According to reports, Josey L. Roper suffered moderate injuries when the 1996 Dodge Ram he was driving ran off the left side of the roadway striking an embankment and overturned. He was taken by emergency services personnel to Southeast Health in Dexter.

According to reports, Roper was arrested at 12:46 p.m. on suspicion of felony driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana less than 10 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to comply with ignition interlock requirements, failure to drive on right half of roadway resulting in a crash and no seat belt.

A 16-year-old Kennett male suffered moderate injures in an accident at 6:50 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, on Highway 62 and County Road 241 in Dunklin County.

According to reports, he was driving a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado when it travelled off the left side of the roadway, crossed county road 241 and impacted the ground. He was transported by private vehicle to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Gregory L. Edwards, 53, of Piedmont was arrested at 1:11 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, in Wayne County on a felony Wayne County warrant on the original charge of harassment. He was held in Wayne County.

Phillip R. Tanner, 35, of Greenville was arrested at 8:47 p.m. Friday in Stoddard County on suspicion of felony possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine)s, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and no seat belt. He was booked into the Stoddard County Jail on a 24-hour hold.

Joshua T. Franklin, 30, of Dudley was arrested at 1:07 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, in Stoddard County on a Butler County Sheriff’s Office warrant for failure to register motor vehicle and no seat belt. He was held at the Stoddard County Sheriff’s Office.
