Clarence F. Smith

Clarence F. Smith, 90, of Neelyville died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Smith was born Oct. 5, 1929, Butler County, Mo. He was a lifelong resident of the Coon Island and Neelyville area. He was a member of the Coon Island General Baptist Church.

He married Minnie Dollins Jan. 13, 1982, at Neelyville. She survives.

Other survivors are children, Teresa Mitchell and Tamie Beecher and husband, Farris Odus Knight; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are one son, Roger Smith, and his parents, John Edward Smith and Naoma Whitt Smith.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14 at Fowler & Sons Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Coon Island Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Allen Leutert.
