Terry Lynn will attend the Poplar Bluff events.

He uses figurative painting that includes the use of “spirited gestures and textural layers of imagery to narrate his family’s history in the south,” according to organizers.

“More recently, he has developed his individual practice with a deeper exploration of abstraction, expanded use of media, and the integration of provocative political and cultural commentary. Still inspired by his family’s history and traditions, but influenced by current social issues and his own personal revelations,” organizers said.

Collectors of their work are reported to be: Kanye West, Black Enterprise founder Earl Graves, Ralph White of Earth Wind and Fire, Singer/song writer Kem, Alonzo & Tracey Mourning, BET Founder Bob Johnson and former NBA player and restaurant mogul Ulysses ‘Junior’ Bridgeman.
