City firefighters responded at 5:43 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, to assist emergency-medical-services personnel at 800 W. Victor St.
According to the report, a person had fallen in the bedroom, and firefighters assisted EMS in getting him or her back into bed.

City firefighters responded at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, to a report of a fire that previously had burned at the Butler County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, 106 S. Second St.
According to the report, a basement door had been set on fire, but the fire was out.
Detectives with the police department’s Criminal Investigation Division already were on the scene when the fire department arrived.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the State Fire Marshal’s Office and the police department.
While checking the area, officials found a plastic bottle that had been put between two boards in a boarded up window at the 106 Vine St. building owned by J.R. and Kenneth Murphy. It appeared someone had tried to set the bottle on fire.
