Christopher Marquios Gainwell, 30, of the 1000 block of Alice Street was arrested at 1:49 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, at the intersection of Alice and Jefferson streets on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident, failure to yield right of way, driving while intoxicated, three counts of failure to stop at a stop sign and careless and imprudent driving. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Gloria J.W. Cook, 35, of the 900 block of Nooney Street was arrested at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, on Riverview on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and littering and on a Dunklin County warrant for probation violation on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

Bruce Lynn Chronister, 29, who listed Poplar Bluff and Qulin addresses, was arrested at 10:38 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, at the intersection of 11th and Poplar streets on suspicion of peace disturbance and possession of marijuana. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Kenneth Alwyn Graney, 67, of the 700 block of Foley Street was arrested at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, on suspicion of fourth-degree domestic assault. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Christian D. Brant of the 300 block of West Victor Street reported Tuesday, Oct. 15, that his push lawn mower had been stolen from his residence.

A 60-year-old Poplar Bluff man was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 4:22 p.m. Oct. 10 at the intersection of Main Street and College Avenue.
According to the report, Taylor Nicole Flores, 24, of the 800 block of South Ninth Street was operating a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze southbound on Main at College, as was Mary Lou Blunkall, 59, of Winona, who was operating a 2008 Dodge van.
Flores told officers Blunkall’s van stopped abruptly, and her car allegedly collided with the van.
Blunkall reported she was waiting to turn east on College when Flores’ car allegedly collided into the rear of her van.
Blunkall and her passenger, Leon White of the 400 block of North Second Street, complained of neck and back pain.
White was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

A 46-year-old Zalma man was injured in a three-vehicle crash at 11:35 a.m. Oct. 9 at the intersection of Westwood Boulevard and Crestwood Drive.
According to the report, William H. Pedigo III was operating a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt northbound on Westwood Boulevard.
At the same time, Marc A. Cummings, 46, of the 300 block of Hickory Meadow was operating a 2003 Toyota SUV that was waiting to merge southbound onto Westwood from Crestwood.
Jessica Lou Hogg, 39, of the 100 block of Rolling Oaks also was operating a 2011 Ford pickup southbound on Westwood.
Pedigo’s car allegedly crossed the center line into oncoming traffic and continued on, striking Cummings’ SUV.
Hogg reportedly pulled over after seeing the crash.
Pedigo’s car allegedly bounced off of Cummings’ SUV and rolled backward into Hogg’s truck.
The position of Hogg’s truck reportedly stopped Pedigo’s car from rolling into traffic.
Pedigo was taken by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment.
