Cornelius Wendel Bush, 45, no address listed, was arrested at 5:05 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17, on a Butler County failure to appear warrant for possession of methamphetamine and on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.

He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Christopher James Snow, 34, who listed Illinois and Lester street addresses, was arrested at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at the Walmart Supercenter on suspicion of stealing.

He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Amanda Thrasher of the 1300 block of County Road 569 reported a laptop and bag were stolen from her unlocked vehicle while it was parked at Whiteley Park sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. on Sept. 16.

Brittany Nicole Holt, 27, of the 3000 block of Elaine, was arrested at 4:25 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 16, on 300 block of South Westwood Boulevard on a Dexter municipal warrant for larceny.

She was booked at the Butler County jail.

Justin C. Molton, 30, of the 2100 block of Woods was arrested at 3:14 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 16, in the 500 block of South Westwood Boulevard on suspicion of trespassing and stealing.

He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Justin Capper, an employee of Baldwin Chevrolet in the 600 block of South Westwood Boulevard, reported at 8:49 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, that his 2001 Dodge Ram was stolen from the dealership after he left it there overnight.

A Taurus 9mm pistol inside the vehicle also was stolen.

Alisha Naucke of the 300 block of 11th Street reported at 5:17 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17, getting a phone call from her landlord about a break-in at her apartment.

Upon her arrival, she discovered a flat-screen TV, children’s’ toys and her children’s Social Security cards were missing.

The theft is believed to have occurred between 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 16 and 5 p.m. on Sept. 17.

BUTLER COUNTY SHERIFF:

Danner McCauley, owner of D&G Auto in the 200 block of East Outer Road, reported on Sept. 11 the theft of four wheels and tires from a 2018 GMC Acadia parked on the lot.

According to the report, the vehicle was found on jacks with all four wheels missing.

Deputies reviewed surveillance video footage and retrieved fingerprints from the vehicle, which will be forwarded to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime Lab.

Ordean Evans of the 400 block of D Street in Qulin reported at 8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 16, that he heard a loud noise between 3-4 a.m.

Broken glass in a non-functioning car in her backyard was found.

Jennifer Faircloth of the 17500 block of Highway 53 reported at 9 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15, that her 2002 Ford Mustang was stolen while she was fishing between 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Coon Island Conservation Area.

Jacob Wayne Conner, 19, of the 400 block of County Road 5351 was booked at the Butler County jail Tuesday, Sept. 17 on a warrant for possession of marijuana. He was released on bond.

Justin Wayne Johnson, 29, of Fairdealing was booked Tuesday, Sept. 17, at the Butler County jail on suspicion of first-degree trespassing.

Colt Ray Scrivner, 30, of Doniphan was booked at the Butler County jail Tuesday, Sept. 17, on suspicion of second-degree domestic assault and second-degree kidnapping.

Jesse Alexander Sutton, 36, of the 500 black of Vaden was booked Tuesday, Sept. 17, at the Butler County jail on suspicion of resisting arrest by fleeing.

MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL:

Dana E. Brockway, 49, of Oklahoma City, Okla., was arrested at 2:26 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17, on a Washington County, Oregon, warrant for three counts of larceny/theft and on suspicion of speeding.

She was booked at the Stoddard County Jail.

STODDARD COUNTY SHERIFF:

BLOOMFIELD — Travis Lynn Corzine, 37, of Dudley was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked/suspended, failure to maintain his lane on the right half of the road and DWI (chronic offender). He was booked at the Stoddard County Jail.
