MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL

Two area women were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 3:50 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, on U.S. 160 at Highway C in Butler County.

According to the report, Mildred J. Farris, 73, of Poplar Bluff was operating a 2004 Dodge Intrepid southbound when it failed to yield and struck the side of 2003 Oldsmobile Alero being driven eastbound by Harley W. Hood, 31, of Poplar Bluff.

Hood’s passenger, Bethel E. Bruce, 76, of Doniphan, suffered moderate injuries, while another passenger, Heather L. Hood, 24, of Poplar Bluff, suffered minor injuries. Both were taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Regeena D. Ciaccio, 35 of Greenville was arrested at 5:38 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated (prior offender), failure to drive on the right half of the road resulting in a crash and no seat belt. She was booked at the Wayne County Jail.

POPLAR BLUFF POLICE DEPARTMENT

Louis Van Buchanan, 45, of the 500 block of Lester Street was arrested at 10:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, at the intersection of Spring and Main streets on a Butler County warrant for non-support and a Jefferson City municipal warrant for driving while suspended. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

William Charles Flickenger, 52, of the 100 block of Red Robin Lane was arrested at 6:45 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, at the intersection of Ashcroft Road and Highway WW on four municipal failure to appear warrants for animal neglect/abandonment, nuisance prohibited, animals at large and no animal tags. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Sharon Leann Leeks, 32, of the 1000 block of Ash Street was arrested at 3:55 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, at her residence on a Dunklin County warrant for forgery. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

Daniel J. Bright, 40, of the 300 block of Ferguson Street was arrested at 10:59 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, at the intersection of Pine and Ferguson streets on a Stoddard County warrant for a drug offense. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Kali Nicole Malone, 24, no address listed, was arrested at 4:36 a.m. Friday, Sept. 6, in the 500 block of Pine Street on a Butler County failure to appear warrant for shoplifting. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

John Sandefer reported tools were stolen from his MP Nexlevel truck while it was parked at the Drury Inn in the 2200 block of North Westwood Boulevard between 11 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, and 7 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5.

According to the report, a utility locator, wrenches, vise grips, hammers, hatchet, Allen wrenches, sockets, duct cutter and pliers were among the tools stolen.

Michael Richard Kelly of the 2600 block of Russell Road reported Tuesday, Sept. 3, that his home had been forcibly entered on Aug. 22.

According to the report, a Colt .22-caliber pistol was stolen, and a riding lawn mower was stolen from the patio.

Jamie Lynn Haise, 40, of the 1700 block of Wilson Street was booked at the Butler County jail Thursday, Sept. 5, on a Perry County capias warrant for probation violation on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Joshua Lee Ray, 29, of the 400 block of Old Highway B was booked at the Butler County jail Thursday, Sept. 5, on a failure to appear warrant for possession of marijuana and two warrants for possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.

Bryan Ray Tucker, 46, of the 700 block of Warren Street was booked at the Butler County jail Thursday, Sept. 5, on two failure to appear warrants for violation of an ex-parte/full order of protection and driving while revoked/suspended. He was released on bond.

Jayden Rand Woolverton, 18, of Doniphan was booked at the Butler County jail Thursday, Sept. 5, on a failure to appear warrant for no seat belt. He was released on bond.

Donald A. White of Nixa, Mo., reported Tuesday, Sept. 3, that his storage unit at Brytte Storage had been forcibly entered sometime within the prior month.

According to the report, a battery saver/solar panel, white boards, golf gloves, tape, surge protectors, plastic drawers, an action figure, microscope set and about 40 comic books were among the items stolen from White’s unit.

Geraldine Chambers of Success, Ark., reported Wednesday, Sept. 4, that her son’s home in the 200 block of County Road 321 had been entered and a box of DVD movies was stolen.
