Mr. Woods, was born July 24, 1937, in Greenville. He worked for many years as a tool and die maker and later as maintenance manager at Ballwin Baptist Church. The item he loved to make and was most proud of was JESUS plaques. Over time he made more than 200 plaques, of which he gave away. He would say “It’s nice to have a Jesus plaque on the wall, but it is more important that Jesus is in your heart”.
