NORRIS CITY, Ill. — Margaret Ann Weaver, 73, of Poplar Bluff, formerly of Grayville, passed away at 1:33 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She was born in Princeton, Ind. on May 14, 1946 the daughter of George William and Gladys Viola (Schalk) Morris.
Margaret married James Brayton Weaver on February 2, 1982 and he preceded her in death on June 2, 1994. She had worked in the food service industry as a restaurant cook and most recently in the deli department at Walmart.
Margaret is survived by a son, Edward (Camille) Haywood of Bone Gap, Ill.; a sister, Faye (Harold) McDaniel of Poplar Bluff; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and a longtime friend, Rose Pritchard of Albion, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents; husban;, a son, Michael Chapman; two sisters, Helen Hearsum and Dorothy Bullard; and a brother, Robert Morris.
Graveside funeral services and burial for Margaret Ann Weaver, 73, will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 20 at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Norris City, Ill. Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City is in charge of arrangement.
