Police are searching for a man they say was brazen enough to shoplift from a local retailer not once, but two days in a row.

Employees of 10Box Cost Plus reported that around 9 p.m. Aug. 10, an African American male and an African American female stole bottles of alcohol from the store.

According to the police report, the male subject placed bottles of liquor “down his pants” while in the alcohol section and left the store with a female subject.

Police report viewing video surveillance and identifying the stolen items as bottles of Popov Vodka, Tanqueray Gin and Wild Turkey.

Employees made a second report, of an alcohol theft occurring between 12:30-2:43 p.m. Aug. 11, also involving an African American male that police say they believe is the same individual. The items reported taken in the second incident include a bottle of Crown Royal, a bottle of Wild Turkey and a bottle of Tanqueray Gin.

According to the police report, a male and a different female entered the store shortly after noon, followed minutes later by a group of African American females.

The group of women was allegedly caught attempting to steal alcohol from the store.

Employees say when they later reviewed video footage, the man and woman appeared to be taking alcohol before exiting the store.

Police are still investigating to determine the identities of those involved.
