City firefighters responded at 7:15 p.m. Monday to assist police officers needing to do a welfare check at 430 Vine St.
According to the report, firefighters opened the Knox Box to let the officers in and went in with the officers to assist in the welfare check.

City firefighters responded at 10:20 a.m. Monday to a carbon-monoxide alarm at the Fairfield Inn, 3109 Oak Grove Road.
According to the report, the alarm was in the dryer room, where it was found that duct work had been left open, causing the room to fill with CO.
The manager shut the duct work and open window(s) to air the room out.
Firefighters monitored the air for CO.
