POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. — Rickey Ervin Dobbs, 62, of Wappapello, Mo., died July 20, 2019 at his residence. Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 25 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 26 in the chapel with Arvin Haynes officiating.

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. — Rickey Ervin Dobbs, 62, of Wappapello, Mo., passed away on July 20, 2019 at his home in Wappapello.

Rickey was born on December 17, 1956 to Merlin and Virginia Dobbs in Poplar Bluff. He married Tracy Lanette Dobbs (Schlatweiler) on October 20, 2007, in Poplar Bluff..

He attended Lakeland Assembly of God Church in Wappapello. Rickey loved his wife and kids, but his 12 grandsons hung the moon. He could be found spending his time with his family, friends or fishing.

Rickey is survived by his mother, Virginia Dobbs; wife. Tracy; children, Tammy (Joe) Deken, Lisa (Jeremy) Sullivan, Kassie Schlatweiler, Ryan Elledge, D.J. Burkett, Bridgette (Ryan) Sauls, Damion Burkett and Cora Deno; grandchildren, Christopher, Zachary, Nicholas, Taron, Joshua, Drew, Jacob, Patrick, Bradley, Owen and baby Lucas (on the way): siblings,Vickey Hodge, Pam Wallace, James Dobbs, Tricia Dobbs, Rachel (Darren) Johnson, Robert (Amanda) Schlatweiler, Tonia Schlatweiler and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Rickey was preceded in death by his first wife, Beth (Tammy and Lisa’s mom); grandson, Bradley Sullivan; father, Merlin Dobbs; grandparents, Lee and Ilene Hale, Harry and Claire Dobbs and brother, Ronnie.

Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 25 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 26 in the chapel with Arvin Haynes officiating. Burial will be at Three Springs Cemetery in Butler County.
