Melissa R. Coleman

NEELYVILLE, Mo. — Melissa R. Coleman, 41, of Doniphan, Mo., entered into rest July 12, 2019 in Urbania, Ill.

Melissa leaves behind two children, Auston Coleman of Emporia, Kan. and Nathan Coleman of the home; her father, Manuel Powell of Poplar Bluff; two sisters, Elvira Capper of Poplar Bluff and Danielle McElhaney of Doniphan; one brother, Denny Powell of Poplar Bluff; 12 nieces and nephews; numerous uncles and aunts; cousins and friends.

Melissa’s hobbies included horses, music, baking, planting flowers, driving her truck and taking pictures. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Melissa was always wearing a smile even when she was sad or annoyed. She was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death was her mother, Deborah R. Powell; her grandfather, Rev. Richard M. Whitmer and her Grandma Powell.

Melissa will be greatly missed by everyone who loved her.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. - noon Thursday, July 18 Fowler & Sons Funeral Home in Neelyville. The funeral will follow at noon in the funeral home with Rev. Kevin Eudaley officiating. Burial will be in the Cypress Creek Cemetery in Fairdealing, Mo.
