Ellen 'Dodie' Gomez

QULIN, Mo. ­­— Ellen ‘Dodie’ Delores Gomez, age 66, of Qulin, died Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Gomez was born July 6, 1952 in Saint Louis, Mo.

She is survived by the father of her children, Neftali Gomez of Broseley; one son, Israel Gomez of Poplar Bluff; two daughters, Leticia Gomez (Flanigan) of Poplar Bluff and Talia Gomez of Broseley; Leo Gonzalez, who was like a son to her; four brothers, Stanley Thomasson of Grandin, Buel Thomasson of Blytheville, Ark., Guy Thomasson and wife, Tracy of Pevely, Tilden Wayne Thomasson and wife, Dusty of Grandin; six sisters, Shelia Thomasson of Poplar Bluff, Cindy Smith of Piedmont, Regina Davis and husband, Charlie of Qulin, Lisa Keirsey and husband, Bryan of Qulin, Billie Luaders of Qulin and Angel Wilson of Thayer; four grandchildren, Corey Carter and fiancé, Codi, Tori Flanigan, Gavin Cagle, Jada Jarred; two great-grandchildren, Brantley and Luka Carter.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 13 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Qulin. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gary Hancock officiating. Burial will be in Qulin Cemetery at Qulin.
