WAPPAPELLO, Mo. — Cleman Wayne Elledge, 83, of Wappapello, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at his residence.
Mr. Elledge, the son of the late Burford and Wilma Rienert Elledge, was born Feb. 14, 1936 in Wayne County. He retired after 30 years of dedicated service from the U. S. Forest Service. He enjoyed spending time with his family, raising cattle, gardening, walks around Lake Wappapello and just being outdoors.
Survivors include his three nieces, Tammy Spain, Yvonne Spink and Dawn Elledge; a nephew, Timmy Elledge and several great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his three brothers, Bobby Elledge, Herman Elledge and Jackie Elledge.
The visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel at Wappapello with the funeral service following at noon. The Rev. Ted Elledge will be officiating. Burial will be at the Puxico City Cemetery.
