City firefighters responded at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, to a motor-vehicle crash at 1717 W. Maud St.

According to the report, firefighters provided first aid until emergency-medical-services personnel arrived. Firefighters also helped load an injured person for transport to a hospital for treatment.

City firefighters responded at 4:38 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, to a report of bricks falling off of the Little, Schellhammer, Richardson & Knowlan office, 123 S. Second St.

According to the report, firefighters found bricks in the road, which had came loose from the top of the building.

Firefighters used a ladder to get a closer look at the roof and found the metal flashing on the top of the roof was loose. The wind was causing it to lift and fall, knocking bricks loose.

Street department personnel responded and set up barriers and tape to keep the area safe.

County firefighters responded at 10:09 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, to a structure fire at 10460 Highway 60.

According to the report, the fire involved a mobile home that was being demolished. The owner was Aaron Collins.
