County firefighters responded at 4 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, to a structure fire at 10855 Highway 67 South.
According to the report, the home, occupied by Elizabeth Hart, was destroyed.

City firefighters responded at 5:18 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, to a report of a smoke smell at 2981 Kanell Blvd., owned by Rick Brittingham. It was investigation only.
According to the report, firefighters used the department’s thermal-imaging camera to check the building. Firefighters found a light smell of paper burning in a restroom, but did not find any paper.

City firefighters responded at 4:50 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, to a motor-vehicle crash at 950 N. Westwood Blvd.
According to the report, firefighters stabilized the vehicles and patients until emergency-medical-services personnel arrived.
Once the vehicles were removed, firefighters used an absorbent and cleared debris from the road.

According to the report, firefighters assisted with traffic control and used an absorbent on a small fluid leak. Firefighters also cleared debris from the road.

City firefighters responded at 12:38 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, to a fire at the 1230 Grand Ave. residence owned and occupied by Rebecca Bailey.
According to the report, firefighters found a trash fire in the front yard.
Firefighters reportedly told Bailey about the city’s burn ordinance, and she used a garden hose to put out the fire.
