City firefighters responded at 12:30 a.m. Thursday to assist police officers at 639 S. Westwood Blvd.

According to the report, officers asked firefighters to used the department’s thermal-imaging camera to assist in locating a subject who had fled into the woods.

City firefighters responded at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday to an alarm at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, 2620 N. Westwood Blvd. It was investigation only.

City firefighters responded at 5:53 p.m. Wednesday to an alarm at Kids Corral, 2337 N. Main St. It was investigation only.

City firefighters responded at 3:47 p.m. Wednesday to a request for medical assistance for non-responsive person at 1105 Commerce St.

According to the report, firefighters assisted emergency-medical-services personnel with CPR and loading the person for transport. Firefighters performed CPR simultaneously with EMS until a second ambulance arrived.

City firefighter responded at 12:37 p.m. Wednesday to a possible structure fire at 707 W. Pine St. It was investigation only.

According to the report, firefighters found no smoke or fire upon their arrival. Firefighters determined a firework designed to create smoke was set off on the exterior of the structure.

According to the report, firefighters assisted in removing a person from his or her residence for transport to a medical facility.
