Pamela Susan (Edwards) Miles, 69, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018.

She was born on June 15, 1949 to Darwin and Lois (Jiles) Edwards in Phoenix, Ariz. Pam graduated from Poplar Bluff High School in 1967 and attended Three Rivers College. On June 21, 1970, Pam married Terry Miles at Temple Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff. After 47 years as the Medical Records Manager for Kneibert Clinic, Pam retired this past May to spend more time with family and friends, trying new recipes, and hosting her granddaughter for weekends at Grammy's.

Pam was a consummate servant of God, prioritizing the needs of others, and sharing her loving nature and energy. She had a special place in her heart for children's well-being; she showered love and praises, and curated growth in the students she taught in Sunday School for over 30 years, and mentored through the Poplar Bluff school system.

Easy to laugh and highly sentimental, Pam cherished family "inside jokes" and hand-drawn cards. In her wallet, she carried family photos and 'I love you' notes. She loved with all her being.

Pam is survived by her spouse of 48 years, Terry Miles; two daughters, Jennifer (Will) Atkinson of West Plains, Mo. and Becky Miles of Kansas City, Mo.; one granddaughter, Harper Atkinson; one sister, Sandy (Doug) Hawks of Lexington, Tenn.; and two brothers, Michael (Joyce) Edwards of Lebanon, Mo. and Gary (Cathy) Edwards of Aransas Pass, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 5 - 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2018 at Temple Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Patterson officiating. Burial will take place in the Bloomfield Veteran's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Temple Baptist Church Children's Ministry are welcomed.
