The staff of the Puxico Public Library will be offering two computer classes open to the public starting in October. Classes are being taught by Mikey Sullivan. Each class is limited to five per class and is $40 per student, which includes the weekly seven month class and materials for the class.
Basic Computer Class:
Classes begin Thursday, Oct. 18 and will be on Thursday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Computer basics, keyboarding basics, basic use of Windows, basic usage of Internet Explorer, and using LibreOffice.
Intermediate Computer Class:
Classes begin Monday, Oct. 15 and will be on Monday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Advanced keyboarding, basic troubleshooting, using Adobe reader to fill out web forms, job searching, advanced use of LibreOffice, resume building.
