David Michael Thompson, 48, formerly of Poplar Bluff, Mo., left this earth on Sept. 25, 2018 at St. David's Medical Center, Round Rock, Texas. David was born March 4, 1970 in Poplar Bluff, Mo. He worked as a Millwright at Austin White Lime Company near Georgetown, Texas, loving his short time there. He loved the outdoors, being near water, camping, fishing, riding motorcycles and spending time with family...

David Michael Thompson, 48, formerly of Poplar Bluff, Mo., left this earth on Sept. 25, 2018 at St. David's Medical Center, Round Rock, Texas.

David was born March 4, 1970 in Poplar Bluff, Mo. He worked as a Millwright at Austin White Lime Company near Georgetown, Texas, loving his short time there. He loved the outdoors, being near water, camping, fishing, riding motorcycles and spending time with family.

On Oct. 4, 2008 he married Janie Pennington Thompson. She survives along with their three fur babies; Zoi Marie, Zippy Skipalong and Izzabelle Mae, acquired children; Nicki Anchondo, Susan Palma (Brandan) and Denny Allensworth (Crystal). Grandchildren include Allyssa, Jaden and Noah Anchondo, Austin and Kailey Jo Palma, Taddy and Xander Allensworth and one great-Granddaughter Adalynn. Other survivors include his mother; Mildred Stevens, three sisters; Kathy Partenberry, Deborah Dugger, Janice Ervin (James) and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

David was preceded in death by his father; Everett Thompson, one sister; Nora Loftis and one fur baby; Ruger Doolittle.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Lake Wappapello pavilion (S08) at Redman Creek beach from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, with Rev. James Greer officiating. There will be memory cards at the Celebration of Life for memories to be shared at the service.
