QULIN, Mo. - Joseph "Tony" Janes, age 66, of Qulin, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018 at his home, in Qulin. Mr. Janes was born Tuesday, February 12, 1952 in Poplar Bluff. He was an entrepreneur and was owner and operator of Pontiac Plumbing, Heating and Cooling in Pontiac, Ill. for over twenty years. He was an avid animal lover and enjoyed people. He is survived by one son: Joseph A Janes IV of Brookville, Ohio; one daughter: Nicci Wangerin (Philip) of Perkinston, Miss.; his father: Joseph A. Janes (Cora) of Qulin; two brothers: Robert "Bob" Janes (Marty) of Qulin, and Ron Janes (Sherry) of Poplar Bluff; five grandchildren: Madison, Kyleigh, Hannah, Gavin and Madeline. He was preceded in death by his mother: Sarah Janes; and one brother: Mike Janes.
Visitation will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Qulin. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Sanders officiating.
