Barnett relied a lot on his defense to help him get the 21 outs to win the game, striking out four batters on the day. Barnett relied a lot on his defense to help him get the 21 outs to win the game, striking out four batters on the day. Offensively, Campbell (5-2) did the bulk of its damage in the first inning, scoring three of its four runs. Kaden Siebart, Jake Hankins and Sky Morrison all led the Camels with two hits apiece. With the win, Campbell snapped Bernie's (6-2) six-game winning streak, marking the first time the Mules have been shutout this season.

FALL BASEBALL

Twin Rivers 14, Bloomfield 0, 5 inn

A 10-run third inning helped Twin Rivers cruise to the finish line against Bloomfield (0-9) Tuesday. An error at shortstop helped Jackson Siebart cross the plate for the first score of the inning. Twin Rivers (3-3) then drew four straight walks, three of which walked in runs, to continue doing damage. Jalen Hicks added a three-run homer over the fence in left field to cap the scoring in the fourth. The homer gave Hicks three of his team-leading four RBIs.

Clearwater 1, Ellington 0

Jessie Holmes and Heath Ayers combined to give up just two hits as Clearwater shutout Ellington 1-0 to improve its record to 5-0 Tuesday. Ellington (6-3) pitcher Kaleb Richards allowed just one earned run and struck out six in a complete game for Ellington. The game's lone run came on a grounder to shortstop that gave Jackson Eaton enough time to cross the plate in the first inning.

East Carter 4, Oran 1

Cody Hampton led the Redbirds with a pair of hits as East Carter earned its second win in a row to improve to 5-2. Hampton had a triple on the day in a solid performance. On the mound, Hampton went 5 1/3 innings, striking out three and surrendering just one earned run to Oran (2-5).

Greenville 17, Bell City 4

Greenville poured on six runs in the third inning and five more in the seventh to hand Bell City its first loss of the season. Senior Tye Huff continued his solid season, tallying a 4 for 4 performance with a pair of home runs to net seven RBIs for Greenville (6-2). Huff spent 4 1/3 innings on the mound, giving up no earned runs and striking out five batters.

Puxico 4, Neelyville 3

Puxico snapped a two-game losing skid as Lucas Plunkett knocked a walk-off single to win the game in the seventh, completing a comeback as the Indians trailed by two runs in the seventh. Dalton Phillips and Kasen Barnfield led Puxico (2-5) with three hits apiece. Barnfield went the whole way on the mound and struck out six Neelyville (1-8) batters on the day while allowing just two earned runs.

FALL SOFTBALL

Chaffee 6, East Carter 1

Sydney Walker allowed just four hits and conceded no earned runs while striking out eight in Chaffee's win over East Carter. Carlie Milz led the way offensively along with Madeline Hendrix. Milz scored three runs and recorded two hits and as many RBIs, while Hendrix led the team with three hits. Chaffee (6-4) finished with seven hits on the day, and East Carter (6-5) notched four.

Twin Rivers 13, East Prairie 0, 5 inn

Four different Lady Royals tallied a pair of hits in Twin Rivers' demolition of East Prairie Tuesday. Abbey Hester and Bella Galloway led the way offensively, scoring three runs each. Kaitlin Decken drove in three runs to lead Twin Rivers (4-4). Allie Kacynski threw a one-hitter and struck out two East Prairie (0-6) batters.
