Rescue mission property donated

Hi I'm wanting to say something to Speakout. It said in Friday night's paper today that, the Coca Cola building was purchased by the United Gospel Rescue Mission by Jim Dunn. NO, THAT'S NOT RIGHT! IT WAS DONATED! Brother Jim raised money for a lighthouse mission and then with the Coke building was donated. He spent a very little amount of the money on remodeling it. IT WAS NOT PURCHASED! IT WAS DONATED! Thank you.

Watch Sophie's Choice again

Last week I called Representative Jason Smith's office, I talked to his secretary about the separation of children and families at the border. She said she knew nothing about it and informed me she had more to do than watch the news all day long. I wanted to know if what I was hearing and reading on the news was actually true. I didn't stop there, I called Homeland Security and they referred me to guess what? No answers. I called DOJ, Governor Blunt, Senator McCaskill and uh, Jason Blunt again or Jason Smith again, the immigration office. Nine different government departments I called each answer I got was more asinine than the other. If I got an actual person not a recording I received answers from "Obama started this in 2014" to "no it is not true that they are not detaining children minus the parents" to "the drug ...... Trump administration enforcing, implemented this new policy to convince people on the need, of the need for a wall and the funding to construct it." Well, that was only five days after I made the call, all of these calls but the children were being taken from their families and their parents and the entire world knows about it now. Maybe we should all watch "Sophie's Choice" again. Sophie was just separated from her child by a government.
