As the broker/owner of Premier Realty, Cindy Dunlap offers a one-on-one experience to her clients who are looking to buy, sell or invest in real estate.
Dunlap has been in the "housing business" for nearly 40 years, including the past 15 years in real estate.
"I got my sales associate license in 2003 (and) my broker's license a few years later," said Dunlap, who initially worked for Prudential Alliance in St. Peters, Mo. She moved back to Poplar Bluff in 2016.
Since that time, it's been "very busy" as Dunlap has opened her own office in August.
"We are developing our subdivision at Deer Creek Estates located on Oak Grove Road. That's actually why I got my broker's license. I knew eventually we would develop the subdivision, and I could open my own company."
As there is with starting any new business, Dunlap said, there were a lot of details to take care of, including finding an office, now located at 1927 Big Bend Road. Her husband Steve's construction office for CSD Homes is in the same location.
"I have my real estate, and Steve has his construction, and we also own rental properties," Cindy Dunlap said.
Being in the same office, she said, has been a real asset since "we work so closely together with the construction of the subdivision and also real estate."
Dunlap has experience in representing buyers, sellers and investors with finding residential, commercial or investment properties (rentals), she said, adding she offers the whole package. As a long-time resident of Poplar Bluff, Dunlap said she knows the local market as well as the surrounding areas.
At this time, Dunlap works alone, which allows her to make sure everything is done to her satisfaction, she said, and offers honesty, integrity, energy and hard work in every aspect of a client's real estate transaction.
"I have been in the housing business since 1980 in all varieties including new construction, existing homes, interior decorating, room additions, etc." Dunlap explained.
Dunlap described herself as being detail oriented, as well as "very thorough and punctual."
