Dorothy Elizabeth "Stout" Moore 92, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at The Manor. She was born on Feb. 16, 1926 in Poplar Bluff to the late David and Sarah Gower. Mrs. Moore was a seamstress at Myatt's Drapery and enjoyed gardening, cooking, and canning and was a member of Bluff City Apostolic Worship Center. Mrs. Moore first married Wilborn Stout and he preceded her in death July 12, 1990. She then married Arnold Moore on Sept. 9, 1996. He preceded her in death May 21, 2013.
Mrs. Moore is survived by three children, Darrell Stout and wife Karen, Valerie Kiefer and husband Dan, and Sheila Smith and husband Cevis; 19 grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley Larmie; two sons, David Stout and Nathan Stout; two sisters, Mary Hornbeck and Rosetta Stucker; and three brothers, James Henson, DJ Gower, and Albert Gower.
Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m., Thursday, at the Bluff City Apostolic Worship Center in Poplar Bluff. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, June 8 at Bluff City Apostolic Center with Pastor Jerry Williams officiating and Rev. Ted Elledge assisting. Burial will be in Kinsey Cemetery.
