NEELYVILLE,Mo, -- James Max Winingnear, 79, of Bloomfield, Mo. passed away April 5, 2018 at the Southeast Hospital at Cape Girardeau, Mo.
He was born June 19, 1938 in Arkansas to the late Otis Winingnear and Tula Rae Holcomb Winingnear. On Feb. 2, 1961 at Piggott, Ark. He was married to Christine Rosetta Dean. She preceded him in death Oct. 12, 2016.
He is survived by two sons: Frankie D. Winingnear of Bloomfield, Mo. and James O. Winingnear and wife Letha of Puxico, Mo.; one daughter: Tammy R. Null and husband Kenny of Puxico, Mo.; one grandson; Ryan Winingnear. as well as two sisters: Edna Ashcraft of Qulin, Mo., Jamima Connor of Pollard, Ark.; two brothers: David Winingnear of Harviell, Mo. and Thad Winingnear of Oglesville, Mo. A good friend Debbie also survives.
He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, two sisters Emma and Liola and three brothers George, Tom and Andrew.
He was a member of the Faith Apostolic Church of Sturdivant, Mo. and he enjoyed gardening, working on small engines, working outdoors and watching westerns.
Visitation will begin at noon Monday April 9, 2018 at the Faith Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Sturdivant with the funeral following at 1 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Fagan Cemetery in Puxico, Mo. with Pastor Dale Holman officiating.
