PIEDMONT, Mo. -- Barbara Lucille "Bobby" Hook, 76, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., formerly of Patterson, Mo., passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at Westwood Hills Healthcare Center, Poplar Bluff, Mo.
She was born April 18, 1941, at Hatfield, Ark, to parents, Hollis George and Sarah Louise (Ruddell) Brown.
She was a baptized member of the Church of Christ. In her spare time, Bobby enjoyed arts and crafts, reading, traveling, flea markets, antiques, and listening to country music.
On Nov. 2, 1992, she was united in marriage to John Hook and together they shared many happy years together. They owned and operated Southtown Pawn and Flea Market and The Call of the Wild Animal Museum for several years, both in Poplar Bluff, Mo. John passed away Nov. 17, 2014.
Bobby is survived by her daughter, Tracy Quinter of Patterson, Mo.; son, Hadley Anthony "Tony" Barber and wife Janel of Neelyville, Mo.; grandchildren: Sarah Renee Spear, Shay James and husband Sean, Lee Kittelmann and wife Leah, Matthew Quinter and companion Ashley and Zach Barber; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, D.J. Minchew of Poplar Bluff, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
There were no services. Ruegg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
